About Us We have been manufacturing and distributing quality, skin-safe adhesives and ancillary products for hair enhancement industry since 2000. A "skin-safe" adhesive product is one we hold to be generally non-irritating to the average person, typically, it remains "topical" meaning it does not penetrate through the skin and into the blood stream. All of our products are intended to be used on sound, non-wounded, non-irritated, intact skin.

As a "liquid", Adhesive Removers are an exception; however our PURE and PURE Citru-spice Removers are either approved for use in Cosmetics, incorporated as base ingredients and widely distributed in the cosmetics and Personal Care industry and/or are food grade. Dermal testing should always be used to determine if an incompatibility, allergy, reaction, or irritation will occur. Products that cause the slightest incompatibility, allergy, reaction, or irritation should not be used.

Our products, with the exception of 3M 1522, are not "medical devices". A Medical Device is terminology used by the FDA when granting special status as an "approved" item. The costs associated with approval of this type are simply too onerous for most companies to absorb. Yet, all of our raw materials suppliers have methods and practices in place to manufacture as benign, yet effective, a product as possible. Most of our suppliers are as concerned about the environment as they are concerned about manufacturing a safe, dependable product.

MSDS sheets are available for all of our products. These can also be mailed, faxed or emailed depending upon your prefernce. Simply email one of our staff members with a request.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

When sales and other special pricing is applicable, including "tier" pricing, the overall discounted rate will be limited to a total order value of no more than $2,000.00, even though the order may exceed that amount. All applicable discounts will be given up to a total of $2,000.00 month for any one client.

Our site is secure and 100% PCI Compliant. We accept card payments from banks based in the U.S. only. We accept Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post. We also accept Wire Transfer ($35.00 fee), PayPal (with fee) and Western Union or Moneygram.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always attempt to contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Orders that cannot be funded will be returned to inventory after 5-days. If subsequently re-ordered, the order will be subject to the current pricing which may include increases that might occur during that period of time.
Shipping And Handling IMPORTANT: Direct Signature will be required for all domestic orders shipped with a value in excess of $500.00 unless specifed otherwise by the client through the "other instructions" field of by email, or fax.

IMPORTANT: SHIPPING COSTS are subject to change without notice. The base shipping rate of $11.90 reflects a one-pound, domestic, ground delivery not requiring a signature. Adjustments may apply for other delivery options, weights, or destinations. Final costs are based on weight and size of the package/s being shipped and the method of delivery chosen by the customer. We DO NOT charge handling fees. Free Ground shipping on all domestic orders in excess of $1,000.00.

IMPORTANT: All orders are insured to their invoice value (unless specified by the client). All International Orders are handled as "Ex Works" meaning that True Tape is no longer liable for the package as soon as it is received by the respective shipping company.If your parcel is lost in transit, a delay in order fulfillment is likely while an investigation is opened through the respective shipper (i.e. FedEx or the US Postal Service). If requested by the customer, a replacement order can be shipped immediately at the customer's expense. If reimbursed by the shipper for the lost parcel, the customer will receive the full credit that is due. Please call with any questions or concerns. Thank you.
Delivery Schedule We begin filling orders as soon as they are received. Most of our orders are normally shipped within 24-hours of the time that they are received.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you or cancel the back order depending upon whether the items requested are no longer available or will take longer than 7-days to send. We will pay the shipping cost on all domestic back-ordered items. International orders that cannot be immediately fulfilled at the time the order is placed, will be set aside until all items can be shipped at once.
Tax Charges For orders made from within the United States, sales tax will be apllied to all in state orders unless confirmaion of exception is provided. Our business is operated from Texas. All other orders are tax free, if applicable, please make sure to click the exempt tax box to reduce tax to zero at the time of check out.

Foreign companies are required to fund ALL DUTIES and related IMPORTATION FEES according to the customs of their own country. True Tape will not be responsible for these charges. Foreign clients agree to resolve any disputes regarding Customs Fees in favor of True Tape, LLC. and understand that, in the event of a dispute, the customer's account will be suspended pending outcome.
Credit Card Security When an order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our business computer. Guarantee We do NOT "guarantee" a particular hold time for our adhesives line. Many factors can have an impact on the performance of an adhesive, including, but not limited to: wearer's diet, application method, wearer's activity level, ambient temperature, exposure to humdity, etc. We only offer the adhesive types that are most likely to provide the longest possible, most-secure hold times. Each of our adhesive lots is certified to assure the best quality and strictest adherence to our exacting specifications. MSDS sheets for all of our products are available by request. Thank you!

Returns Policy Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We offer a 100% money-back guarantee on all non-liquid purchases (excluding shipping) returned within the first 30-days of the date shipped. A 15% re-stocking fee might be levied for returns over 30-days, depending upon product condition.

PLEASE be aware on all rolls with a width narrower than 1/2", we have an acceptable tolerance level of up to 1/16" on either side of the target width. For example, if a client wishes to have us send a 1/4" wide roll, acceptable roll widths can vary from 3/16" - .3125" or 5/16". Most of the time, the vast majority of rolls will be on the target width; however, some anomalies occur, for example, when "warped" rolls are processed and there is some shifting from side-to-side as the smaller rolls are wound.
Arbitration Agreement AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATION:

In the event a legal claim might arise between Purchaser and True Tape, LLC., its associates, affiliates, and/or assigns, or Purchaser's client/s and Purchaser and/or True Tape, LLC., its associates, affiliates and/or assigns, such disputes shall be settled and resolved exclusively by Binding Arbitration the rules of which shall be dictated by the applicable arbitration laws for the State of Texas. Any and all arbitration settlements shall be completely resolved with a total expense value not to exceed $2,000.00, including all applicable attorneys fees, and affiliated expenses.
