Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be taken through the processes to finalize and finish your order.

When sales and other special pricing is applicable, including “tier” pricing, the overall discounted rate will be limited to a total value of no more than $2,000.00, even though the order may qualify for a larger discount amount.  All applicable discounts will be offered up to a total of $2,000.00 per month for any one client.

Our site is secure and 100% PCI Compliant. We accept card payments from banks based in the U.S. only. We accept Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. If you do not wish to pay online, you may provide your card information by phone. We also accept Wire Transfer ($35.00 fee), PayPal (with appropriate currency conversion fee) and Western Union or Moneygram.

Special Instructions field:

During check out, if you would like us to be aware of any special handling or condition, please let us know in the Special Instructions Field.  Instruction examples might include things like “Please value this order at (specified amount)”, or “please leave this order on the front porch”, or “please send order without requiring signature”.  Failure to place your special instruction in this field at check out does not constitute an error in you order on the part of True Tape.  Sending any instruction via email or text, including Whatsapp is no guarantee that the instruction will be received and followed.

Order Specifics:

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always attempt to contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Orders that are not funded will be returned to inventory after 15-days. If subsequently re-ordered, the order will be subject to the current pricing which may include increases that might have occurred during that period of time.  We are not required to provide advance notice of pricing increases.

Shipping and Handling (Updated 4/29/2021)

IMPORTANT: Direct Signature will be required for all domestic orders shipped with a value in excess of $500.00 unless specified otherwise by the client through the “other instructions” field.  Please note that in order to send your order without signature required (even though it exceeds $500 in value) we must UNDER value your order.  This means that we will mark the order just under $500 when we ship it and if it is lost or undergoes damage in shipping, the total value of your claim cannot exceed the amount declared.

SHIPPING COSTS are subject to change without notice. The base shipping rate of $12.00 reflects a one-pound, domestic, ground delivery not requiring a signature. Adjustments may apply for other delivery options, weights, or destinations. Final costs are based on weight and size of the package/s being shipped and the method of delivery chosen by the customer. We DO NOT charge separate handling fees.  We offer free Ground shipping on all domestic orders in excess of $1,250.00.

All orders shipped are insured to their invoice value by True Tape using FedEx.  FedEx calls this the “Carriage Value”.  When lost or damaged, completely or partially, en route to your location, True Tape will initiate a claim for the damaged and/or lost product.  BE ADVISED:  Submitting a request for a claim is no guarantee that the claim will be funded.  We have filed a handful of claims over the years with FedEx and have found they are loathe to reimburse.  We encourage our clients who have lost or damaged goods to also contact FedEx to facilitate a timely and positive outcome.  Please be aware, if a package is lost or damaged, it is shipped from True Tape “Ex Works”, therefore, replacements will be sent out at the purchaser’s expense until reimbursement, if it occurs at all.

All International Orders are handled as “Ex Works” meaning that True Tape is no longer liable for the package as soon as it is received by the respective shipping company and “DDU” which is “Deliver Duties Unpaid” meaning the recipient of the package is responsible for all importation duties, fees (including impound fees), and taxes. If your parcel is lost in transit, a delay in order fulfillment is likely while an investigation is opened through the respective shipper (i.e. FedEx). If requested by the customer, a replacement order can be shipped immediately at the customer’s expense. If reimbursed by the shipper for the lost parcel, the customer will receive the full credit that is due.  Please call with any questions or concerns.  All losses are limited by the amount of the “carriage value” that is declared at the time of shipping.

Delivery Schedule

We begin filling Domestic orders as soon as they are received. Most of our orders are normally shipped within 24-hours of the time that they are received.  If we do not ship within 24-hours of reception of your order, we will pay the Domestic Ground FedEx shipping charge.  You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.  International orders are processed as soon as funds are fully received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you or cancel the back order depending upon whether the items requested are no longer available or will take longer than 7-days to send. We will pay the shipping cost on all Domestic back-ordered items. International orders that cannot be immediately fulfilled at the time the order is placed, will be set aside until all items can be shipped at once.

Shipping

True Tape is under contractual obligation to FedEx who is entrusted with the care, custody and control of delivery of orders leaving True Tape.  There are several important considerations that must be understood regarding our shipping policy. (1) True Tape does NOT insure orders for damage or loss leaving our premises.  If insurance is requested and we have not yet shipped your order, we can add the cost of insurance to the order by sending a separate invoice prior to shipping.  (2) In all events, True Tape terms are “Ex-Works”.  This means that, as soon as FedEx has possession of your order, True Tape is no longer responsible for its well-being or handling.  On our part, we will do whatever packaging is reasonable and necessary to protect your order while in route to your location.  (3) If damage or loss occurs, you must engage FedEx to submit a claim for loss.  We will facilitate your claim to the extent that we can assure proper packaging was used given the nature of the items shipped. If you wish to have your order replicated, due to loss or damage, we will duplicate your order so long as the duplicated order is funded in full while you await any reimbursement from FedEx. (4) Given that our current arrangement with FedEx is based upon the volume we ship, we will no longer ship using our client’s shipping account.  This allows us to maintain lower costs for all of the clients to whom we ship.  If you have any questions about these terms, please contact our office by phone: 888-503-4389 or by email: sales@truetape.com.

Mistakes in Ordering

Mistakes in orders placed online by customers can be exchanged for the proper item/s for a full refund so long as they are in a sellable condition once they are returned.  True Tape will not pay for the cost of the return of the  mistaken item from the customer to True Tape, nor will True Tape pay for the shipping costs to send the replacement item/s to the customer.  When True Tape sends the wrong item by mistake, True Tape will pay for both the return of the product that True Tape sent in error and pay for the item/s that was ordered by the client and should have been originally sent.  True Tape will ship the replacement in the same manner as the original order.  For example, if the shipment was originally ordered using FedEx Ground, True Tape will use FedEx Ground to send the proper item/s.

Returns

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We offer a 100% money-back guarantee on all non-liquid purchases (excluding shipping) returned within the first 30-days of the date shipped. A 15% re-stocking fee might be levied for returns over 30-days, depending upon product condition.

Performance Promises or Guarantees

We do NOT “guarantee” a particular hold time for our adhesives line. Many factors can have an impact on the performance of an adhesive, including, but not limited to: wearer’s diet, application method, wearer’s activity level, ambient temperature, exposure to humidity, etc. We only offer the adhesive types that are most likely to provide the longest possible, most-secure hold. Each of our adhesive lots is certified to assure the best quality and strictest adherence to our exacting specifications. MSDS sheets for all of our products are available by request or by links in our online store.  True Tape products are not intended for use in wound care and no warranty exists, express of implied, that convey a medical benefit.

Privacy

True Tape does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.

We reserve the right to utilize email addresses on file to send promotional information regarding True Tape products only. AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATION

In the event a legal claim might arise between Purchaser and True Tape, LLC., its associates, affiliates, and/or assigns, or Purchaser’s client/s and Purchaser and/or True Tape, LLC., its associates, affiliates and/or assigns, such disputes shall be settled and resolved exclusively by Binding Arbitration the rules of which shall be dictated by the applicable arbitration laws for the State of Colorado. Any and all arbitration settlements against True Tape, LLC. shall be completely resolved with a total expense value not to exceed $2,500.00, including all applicable attorneys fees, and affiliated expenses.
